Webhooks
Overview
Get automatic POST notifications when something important happens in Alocis — without polling the dashboard.
How it works
A webhook is an automatic notice: when something happens in Alocis (payment confirmed, subscription canceled, cart abandoned, etc.), we send a JSON POST to the URL you registered.
Your system reads that JSON, checks that the message is legitimate, and replies with HTTP 2xx to confirm receipt. You do not need to keep asking Alocis — Alocis notifies you.

The same flow applies to URL tests (endpoint.test) and live events.
When to use
Use webhooks when you need to react immediately, without manual work in the dashboard:
- Grant access — Unlock a course, members area, or digital product as soon as payment confirms.
- Sync your CRM — Update a CRM, spreadsheet, or automation tool (Zapier, n8n, Make) in real time.
- Automate alerts — Send emails or internal messages when a subscription is past due or a cart is abandoned.
How to set up
A short path to start receiving notifications:
- HTTPS URL — Register a public HTTPS URL (your backend or automation tool). Local or private addresses are not accepted.
- Events — Select only the event types your integration needs — for example payment approved or subscription canceled.
- Test — When you save, Alocis sends a test POST (endpoint.test). Reply with 2xx within 10 seconds to validate the URL.
- Process — On live events, validate the token in the JSON, run your logic, and return 2xx. Store the token securely.
